Pročelje katedrale
Pročelje katedrale pokazuje savršenu harmoniju horizontalnih i vertikalnih linija. Glavni portal u luneti ima gotički reljef Bogorodice s Djetetom iz 1324. godine uz koju su i zaštitnici grada Zadra: sv. Stošija i sv. Krševan. Uz bogato izrađen portal ugrađene su figure četvorice apostola izrađene u grubom reljefu.
Lijevi i desni portali u luneti, tipično romaničkog oblika – polukruga, imaju istaknuti reljef Jaganjca Božjeg, a uz lijevu lunetu smještene su i dvije figure Navještenja: anđeo Gabrijel i Marija, ispod kojih se nalazi ukrasna traka s biljnim ornamentom izrađenim u niello tehnici (13. stoljeće).
Na pročelju se nalaze i dvije rozete: velika romanička iz 12. odnosno 13. stoljeća i mala gotička rozeta, djelo Petra Matejeva iz Šibenika iz 1388. godine.
The facade of the cathedral
The facade of the cathedral shows a perfect harmony of horizontal and vertical lines. The main portal in the lunette has a Gothic relief of the Virgin and Child, from the year 1324, next to which are the patron saints of the city of Zadar: St. Anastasia and St. Chrysogonus. Next to the richly made portal, the figures of the four apostles are built in rough relief.
The left and right portals in the lunette, typically Romanesque in shape – a semicircle, have a prominent relief of the Lamb of God. Next to the left lunette there are two figures of the Annunciation: the angel Gabriel and Mary, below which is a decorative band with vegetal ornamentation made in the niello technique (13th century).
There are also two rosette windows on the facade: a large Romanesque rosette from the 12th/13th century and a small Gothic rosette, the work of Petar Matejev from Šibenik from 1388.
Die Fassade der Kathedrale
Die Fassade der Kathedrale zeigt eine perfekte Harmonie von horizontalen und vertikalen Linien. In der Lünette des Hauptportals befindet ein gotisches Relief der Jungfrau mit dem Kind aus dem Jahr 1324, neben der die Schutzheiligen der Stadt Zadar zu sehen sind: die heilige Anastasia und der heilige Chrysogonus. Neben dem reich verzierten Portal sind die Figuren von vier Aposteln in grobem Relief angebracht.
Die Lünetten der beiden Seitenportale haben die typisch romanische Form eines Halbkreises und zeigen das Relief des Lammes Gottes. Neben der Lünette des linken Portals befinden sich die zwei Figuren der Verkündigung des Herrn: der Erzengel Gabriel und Maria, darunter ein dekoratives Band mit pflanzlichen Ornamenten in Niello-Technik aus dem 13. Jh.
An der Fassade befinden sich zudem zwei Rosettenfenster: eine große romanische Rosette aus dem 12./13. Jahrhundert und eine kleine gotische Rosette, ein Werk von Petar Matejev aus Šibenik aus dem Jahr 1388.

La facciata della cattedrale mostra una perfetta armonia di linee orizzontali e verticali. Il portale principale nella lunetta presenta un rilievo gotico della Vergine con il Bambino, risalente all’anno 1324, accanto al quale si trovano i santi patroni della città di Zara: Sant’Anastasia e San Crisogono. Accanto al portale riccamente realizzato, le figure dei quattro apostoli sono costruite in rilievo grezzo.
I portali di sinistra e di destra nella lunetta, di forma tipicamente romanica – un semicerchio – hanno un rilievo prominente dell’Agnello di Dio. Accanto alla lunetta di sinistra si trovano due figure dell’Annunciazione: l’angelo Gabriele e Maria, al di sotto delle quali si trova una fascia decorativa con ornamenti vegetali realizzati con la tecnica del niello (XIII secolo).
Sulla facciata si trovano anche due rosoni: un grande rosone romanico del XII-XIII secolo e un piccolo rosone gotico, opera di Petar Matejev di Sebenico del 1388.

La façade de la cathédrale présente une parfaite harmonie entre les lignes horizontales et verticales. Le portail principal de la lunette présente un relief gothique de la Vierge à l’Enfant, datant de 1324, à côté duquel se trouvent les saints patrons de la ville de Zadar: Anastasia et Chrysogonus. À côté du portail richement décoré, les figures des quatre apôtres sont construites en relief brut.
Les portails gauche et droit de la lunette, de forme typiquement romane – un demi-cercle – présentent un relief proéminent de l’Agneau de Dieu. À côté de la lunette gauche se trouvent deux figures de l’Annonciation : l’ange Gabriel et Marie, au-dessous desquelles se trouve un bandeau décoratif avec des ornements végétaux réalisés selon la technique du niellage (XIIIe siècle).
La façade comporte également deux rosaces : une grande rosace romane datant du XIIe / XIIIe siècle et une petite rosace gothique, œuvre de Petar Matejev de Šibenik datant de 1388.

A fachada da catedral apresenta uma perfeita harmonia de linhas horizontais e verticais. O portal principal da luneta apresenta um relevo gótico da Virgem com o Menino, do ano de 1324, ao lado do qual se encontram os santos padroeiros da cidade de Zadar: Santa Anastácia e São Crisógono. Junto ao portal ricamente trabalhado, as figuras dos quatro apóstolos estão construídas em relevo grosseiro.
Os portais esquerdo e direito da luneta, de forma tipicamente românica – um semicírculo, têm um relevo proeminente do Cordeiro de Deus. Junto à luneta esquerda encontram-se duas figuras da Anunciação: o anjo Gabriel e Maria, por baixo das quais se encontra uma faixa decorativa com ornamentação vegetalista executada na técnica do niello (séc. XIII).
Existem também duas rosáceas na fachada: uma grande rosácea românica do século XII/XIII e uma pequena rosácea gótica, obra de Petar Matejev de Šibenik, de 1388.

Фасад собора демонстрирует идеальную гармонию горизонтальных и вертикальных линий. Главный портал в люнете украшен готическим рельефом Девы Марии с Младенцем, датируемым 1324 годом, рядом с которым изображены святые покровители города Задар: Святая Анастасия и Святой Хрисогон. Рядом с богато выполненным порталом в грубом рельефе выстроены фигуры четырех апостолов.
Левый и правый порталы в люнете, типично романской формы – полукруг, имеют выдающийся рельеф Агнца Божьего. Рядом с левым люнетом находятся две фигуры Благовещения: ангела Гавриила и Марии, под которыми проходит декоративная полоса с растительным орнаментом, выполненная в технике черни (XIII век).
На фасаде также есть две розетки: большая романская розетка XII-XIII веков и маленькая готическая розетка работы Петара Матеева из Шибеника 1388 года.
A katedrális homlokzata
A katedrális homlokzatán a vízszintes és függőleges vonalak tökéletes harmóniája található. A főportálon a lunettában egy gótikus dombormű látható 1324-ből, amely a Szűzanyát és Gyermekét ábrázolja, mellette Zadar város védőszentjei: Szent Anasztázia és Szent Krizogonusz. A gazdagon megmunkált portálé mellett a négy apostol alakja van domborműként elhelyezve.
A bal és jobb oldali portálék – amelyek szintén tipikus román stílusúak –lunettáiban Isten Báránya-domborművek találhatók. A bal oldali lunetta mellett az angyali üdvözlet két alakja látható: Gábriel arkangyal és Szűz Mária, alatta egy niello-technikával készült sáv növényi díszítéssel (13. század).
A homlokzaton két rózsaablak is található: egy nagy román kori a 12-13. századból és egy kis gótikus, a šibeniki Petar Matejev munkája 1388-ból.
